
Hiroyasu Tsukamoto, Ph.D.
INCOMING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF AEROSPACE, UIUC; RESEARCH AFFILIATE, NASA JPL
Dr. Hiroyasu Tsukamoto is an incoming Assistant Professor of Aerospace at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), a Postdoctoral Research Affiliate at the Robotics Section of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and the director of the ACXIS (Autonomous Control, Exploration, Intelligence, and Systems) Laboratory at UIUC. He is the recipient of the Vougut Fellowship and the William F. Ballhaus Prize for the Best Doctoral Dissertation in Space Engineering, GALCIT, California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He has participated in the Science-Infused Spacecraft Autonomy for Interstellar Object Exploration and the Multi-Spacecraft Technology Demonstration Project at NASA JPL.
